ENRIQUE JIMÉNEZ FIGUEROA
Enrique Jimenez, Director of the Spanish Experience Center, is also the school’s vibrant personality. Born in Cuernavaca, he earned degrees in International Business and Teaching Spanish as a Second Language from Uninter University.

ISRAEL ALBERTO CORTÉS NIETO
My name is Israel Alberto Cortés Nieto, and I’m a philosopher, writer, and Spanish teacher. I began teaching in 2004 at Mexico’s top university for Spanish as a second language and later earned a master’s in Philosophy from the Complutense University of Madrid.

SARA GARCÍA ÁLVAREZ
I’m Sara García Álvarez from Mexico City, now living in Puerto Vallarta, with four years of experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language. With a master’s in art psychology, I find it a privilege to share the beauty of the Spanish language.

MARTHA ELENA COLMENARES RODRÍGUEZ
Born and raised in Puerto Vallarta, I love teaching Spanish, especially to beginners. I enjoy sharing the region's attractions and having fun conversations with students from around the world.

JOVANNY MARCOS BOBADILLA REJÓN
I was born in Puerto Vallarta and have been teaching Spanish as a foreign language for 16 years. I’m a lawyer with a degree from the University of Guadalajara, where I’m now pursuing a second degree in education.

FABIOLA PASTOR BARAJAS
My name is Fabiola Pastor Barajas, and I was born in Colima, where I studied Spanish teaching. Since moving to Puerto Vallarta in 2019, I’ve enjoyed working at the Spanish Experience Center, creating fun activities to help students immerse themselves in the language and Hispanic culture.

DANIEL MORALES BARRIENTOS
Daniel Morales Barrientos, Teacher, was born and raised in Córdoba, Veracruz, with a passion for music and languages. After earning a B.A. in Foreign Languages in Puebla and teaching English for several years, he pursued training in teaching Spanish as a foreign language in Mexico City and Xalapa. Since joining the Spanish Experience Center in 2022, Daniel has enjoyed helping students improve their Spanish while sharing cultural experiences in the beautiful Bahía de Banderas.

SUSANA CHÁVEZ
Susana Chávez, Head of Administration, is an essential part of the Spanish Experience Center family. Originally from El Grullo, a beautiful agricultural town in Jalisco, she has lived in Puerto Vallarta for 13 years and has been with the center for 10 years.

BERTHA MARÍA BOBADILLA
Bertha María Bobadilla, Administrative Assistant, is originally from Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. She works in the administrative area and occasionally teaches Spanish. Bertha loves working at SEC, meeting new people each week, learning about their cultures, and sharing the traditions of her own country.

Patty
Patty makes fesh and delicious lunches for our students and staff on a daily basis. We are so grateful for her.

David
Originally from the “City of Eternal Spring,” Cuernavaca, I hold a bachelor’s degree in languages with a specialization in translation and interpreting. A passionate reader, writer, and avid hiker (usually accompanied by dogs and good company), I’m excited to share my love for languages and cultures—and learn something new along the way!

Doctor
Doctor is our school mascot. He represents our commitment to tradition and the spanish language. He signifies that we are pet-friendly and our love of Puerto Vallarta.
